When I looked last night I couldnt find a place to run the power wire though the firewall

I took the glove box out but didnt see much

also took some of the carpet out, still nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i had the same car... is your auto or manual?

if its auto theres a hole on the driver side above the footrest where the clutch would go in a manual car.

but if its manual then i think you would have to just cut a hole somewhere.

there is a harness going thru the firewall on drivers side next to master cylinder that works

also on passenger side there is one as well which when fed thru does come inside car above glove box

use a dash snake

Not sure on year, but my buddy's accord, the gromet around the wiring harness going through the firewall, was a bit bigger than needed. Just ran it through there

Edit:

Dis on driver side

Which year? My 94 accord was easy

There is a little rubber circle peice in the top left of the gas pedal area. If you can get a pic ill show you.

mmm, see im gonna buy a wire kit and I think it only has 17ft of wire

do you think 17ft will cut it?

the battery is on the passenger side.

I know of the pedal but I was hoping more towards the passenger feet.

I may have to just buy some wire by the foot

thanks for the help

What wiring kit is it? 17 should work but 20 would be safer. 17 will cut it VERY close I dont think id chance it.

And whats the point of running it down the passengers side?

What kind of subs you putting in anyways?

the battery is on the passengers side

if i run the wire down the drivers side i have to cross the engine bay and hide the wire which will eat up the 17ft quick

its a rockford kit, local guy didnt want it and I got it for $30

I made it pretty easily with 20 and I have it tied around the outside of the egine bay. You might have to take a few short cuts but it should make it.

What gauge wire is it

4ga
im no noob

i just didnt see any quick holes in the firewall to use

and almost everyone has worked on a honda but me
Oh alright yeah I think you are going to need to run it to the drivers side (at least if you want it to be easy, I am sure there is some way to get through the passengers side)

Once you get the wire through the fire wall these cars are cake to work on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. What kind of subs are you installing and did you do any electrical upgrades?

im just using some type e alpines

im not looking for anything special in this car

i got a rockford power t3002(rated at 850~rms) if these subs blow, meh ,ill buy some more

i hooked it up in my tc and it sounded decent didnt get as low as i wanted but my budget was $200 for everything including wire and im gonna come out under that $200 =)

20 for subs

17 for box

80 for amp

30 for wire

extreme budget build
