these are fun, my daughter outgrew hers, swap the motors bro, I did my daughter's bug and in high gear it pulled the front wheels off the ground. Get one of these

1.5 Amp Three Stage Onboard Battery Charger/Maintainer

put one on my daughters. When it needs a charge just plug in an extension cord instead of messing with all the bullshit

Awesome bro !!! Its our only true Spl vehicle for now.I hope the whoever goes up against her in her class can put up a 180.9 or better on the board. She is one of only about 4 vehicles in the world that can do it ...

No build log that I know of ...14.4 volt system (4 batteries) feeding 2 Linear Power 4.1hvs, 2 digital Designs 12s (not sure of the tuning freq, somewhere around 77 htz) ...

12 volt wheel chair battery feeding vehicle and head unit ...

30 sescond burst of 180 db ... but can play music all day long if hooked to an Astron. Normal drive time ?? not sure, thing weighs close to 700 lbs ...

the equipment / bracing is heavy ...

I'm going to overlook the fact that you are trolling this thread and actually answer your question. Golf carts have been done. The category is USACi Mini-SPL "The vehicle does not need to be a particular brand such as Fisher Price Power wheels. It can be any self-powered electric vehicle intended for small children. No pedal-cars, go-carts, golf carts, etc." If anyone is interested the rules are here.

As for them being gay, well maybe the pink Escalade and Mustang versions for the girls are pushing it with all the flower stickers but whatever, you are entitled to your opinion. Don't know why you would hate on a child's toy car.

The modified power wheels forum has a ton of info on motor/gearbox swaps. I'm guessing you were referring to the competition Escalade because of the weight? I've found a setup for the mustang (or any others for that matter) to up grade to 18v where you flip a switch up to charge and down to run. I like your onboard charger idea. Is there a switch that shuts off power since you don't have to unplug the battery anymore?

yea I got all my info from the power wheels forum, none of mine had stereos, just neon and her jeep had 4 fogs that lit up the yard so she could drive at night

It would be super simple to add a switch in to shut off power, you really wouldnt need to, I posted a maintainer so when its just sitting there leave it plugged in and the charger will shut on and off as needed and keep it charged

We did LED headlights and put some neons on my son's, but didn't get around to finishing up all of the lights before the show last night. We aren't in the same league as Alexis and those guys, but my boy put up a 162.6 last night and won highest SPL at the show!

One Kicker L5 12 and a PB 1500 on an NSB90.

Lot's of work still left to do, but we'll be chasing down that Caddy!
