Power Question

O alright, I was just wondering because my old stock battery would lose voltage when I had a 300rms w amp hooked up to it so i wasn't sure even though i added a better battery if it could still withstand a 1000rms w.

Thanks Chevy, Greg

I have a 98 Suburban with the battery that has always been in there, with a stock alternator. I can push my Kicker ZX 1000.1 pretty hard, but I do get voltage drops, not EXTREMELY drastic though. You should be ok.

I honestly have no idea... The "real" stock one went out of me, so I got a new alternator put in. This was before I was interested in car audio so I'm not sure what it puts out. You should be fine though, I wouldn't worry.

I just tested my car audio w/ my new battery with the lights on and it didn't dim at all and the whole time I was at idle.
