power options for a sa zcon v3 15

thinking about getting this sa zv3 15, now in specs its saying that its 1500rms but ive been seeing people say that its greatly underrated and doesn't really get going until about 2200rms. anybody have any experience with this, and if so whats a good rms to run this thing.

Should be fine on 2200 if you know what your doing.

The enclosure will play a big part in power handling. Also, make sure to keep a clean signal as well. Which amp were you looking at?

The saz-1500 will do nicely on that sub.

yea i thought so too, but its kinda pricey and i know i wont have much over 800 to 1000 to spend. and im trying to decide if i need to go bigger on the enclosure, im building a ported 3.2 cubed tuned to about 38 hz, but it was for a different woofer.
