Power On Issues

I have 2 amps.. Both of which seemed to stop working at the same time. I've removed all connections (speaker wires, RCA's), unmounted the amps (to ensure they're not shorted out from the mounting position). I first noticed that my head unit's remote turn on was fried. I then spliced the remote wire to the power wire.

I have battery power and remote power to both amps, but they still won't power on. I've checked the fuses, they're both fine..

What else could this be? Are my amps done for? It seems odd they'd both go at the same time. Is it possible they received a jolt of power that fried them both?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Yeah, off the battery wire. That's what you meant right?

So it not being grounded correctly could cause this *EVEN* though there is power at both amps on the remote and power posts?
