power master d3100 vs hc2400

i was told by some one at a comp i just went to that the d3100 power master is better then the kinetik hc 2400,, now the reason im beliveing him for the fact of him buping once at 7k then letting it sit and volts were at 12.8.. wut do you guys think

I've been doing forum searches and just about everyone prefers D31000 over the 2400HC.
