Im not sure exactly how right now but Ill ask a few of my buddies, I know they set me up right casue thats what im working on right now, youll need a few wires and a special conector that has a dual head type connection, my local harware store sells one for .99 cents so im lucky. You just in reality need to run it in series or paralell with your battery, im not sure witch one.
Un plug your negative and find a good spot where your battery can be tied down run the negatives together and the positves together then hook up the nagative back and light her up its easy as long as you have the right cables and the right battery adapters.
Hey sup ? There are a few precautionsthat you must take I found out today that you need to get a selnoid and a certain switch Painlesswirring.com had a dual battery setup. Im going to attempt to get a custom one, Ill let you know how it goes Ill find out some more ways to make it work. But when i was running some calculations direct hook up is no goo too much or too little power and batteries die. So you could ground both negs and run your normal batt to your alternator and other crap and your accesories to your yellowtop that might work unless you want all your power from a combined source then you will need that dual batt kit.
hmm, yeah i have a catalog that has some battery isolators, but i dont know enough about them to get any use, i will continue to look around, and hopefully i can find something that will get me going again, thanks for all the idea/info so far
