i've been having a problem with my subs just clicking off. i thought "hey maybe that screw holding the GND wire is loose again...". no big deal. so i check it. good. so i then check the fuse holder. good. battery. good. so i start over. as i wiggle the power wires i see the whole shit moving.. so immediately pull the fuse. that was yesterday.
today at lunch... pull that amp and take it apart. when i get it open, i was able to just pick up the power input off of the board.
i should be able to just solder it back on, correct? it didn't get a chance to fck anything else up because the amp still worked, it'd just click of over a bump or something. it was mounted on the back of my box along with the 404 so i don't think that's the reason. the 404 is working fine.
me wires come out at a weird angle and maybe they had some stress on it. that combined with the vibration from the sub might be why this happened. this ever happen with anyone else? i thought it was crazy that all the solder just broke.
