That's why I have to hold back laughter when people say they just got 2 12's and a 600 watt amp from Best Buy. I ask them what kind, their response is "12 inch, with a Jensen, it's awesome" and im just like man I wish I could teach you everything I know.

Ok, here's a definition so you don't get so easily confused...

n 1: a personal belief that is not founded on proof or certainty;

2: a belief or sentiment shared by most people; the voice of the people;

3: a message expressing a belief about something;

Just because they've won some competitions doesn't mean that mark, or anyone else has to like them or like what they're doing as a business. Here's my opinion -

I think Rockford does make some good products, but I also know they make some bad products. If they've been around so long and been such a big part of the game, I think that they should get rid of their shitty line of products and maybe focus more on their better stuff...and lower the prices so more people would be interested in buying.

I agree with some parts of your opinion, however, I don't run the fosgate business. I think it's good that you're getting the facts so that you can make an educated decision with any car audio product you may buy for yourself or someone you care about in the future. whether you buy them based on your taste or opinion is up to you, but at least you have all the information you'll ever need. 1 alpine zr subs, the white faced ones, very very tight but discontinued...alpines best sub

2 olf rf amps very good amps, i owned one and it never let me down, new ones are pieces of garbage, i bought one and quickly got my money back and bought my planet audio 1200d

3. old sony before the xplod...the one's that look like the first explode series, but not explode....mobile es, thats it...

many rf stuff i have seen used for sq in caraudio and electronics and autosound & security has been the very old series, and never subs, just amps....

also ever heard of nate munson? 169.8 with a single DD ten inch woofer....I seriously doubt a fuzzgate woofer could do that....even the power hx's....

better woofers for the money, and crispy highs the fact that you said foam surround is shitty shows your ignorance....It's like saying my woofer is better because it has a big magnet....
