power hx2 power handling

ive done some research and the only stuff i found was some noobs on the rf forum saying that l7's can take more . i dont see a 2" coil taking more than a 4, although i think the 4 inch on the power hx2 is light so im wondering who has ran them before can they take at least 1500 - 2000 of amp, clamping about 1500? 10"btw. also does anyone know the spider size/ configuration (dual? single?)

I know for a fact the Power HX2 can take more than rated. I dont know how much more, but they can. Ive seen it done. Ive seen 1800rms on one that even after rise and voltage drop still had to be well over the 1000 that its rated, and there was no distortion at all

by no means am I advocating overpowering a sub. but i have seen it done with this sub before and it didnt seem to be a problem at all at the time...6 monthes later of that much daily? I dont know
