Power Handling

I had a ported box but I decieded to got ported anyway ..... I have a new box (old) and I'm woried about this spec, it say power handling 300 watts but the sub is 400 rms does that mean I can go over 300 watts?

nvm they are 400 just build that box you will be fine

arent cvr 12s 300 not 400 rms

any idea why it says ther POWER HANDLING 300 WATTS RMS?

they prolly didnt update the manual do to the fact 06 cvrs were 300 a piece your fine

Actually I got the info from here it says 2007, I was wondering if ported box underated your sub? no right? 400 is 400 box dosent matter right?

actually i called kicker and they said its rated at 300 watts ported b/c thats the amount of wattage needed to power the driver in that application but 400 watts rms would be fine for ported.
