because i compete in MECA...and they require a fuse on all power wires within 18" of the battery....and i dont want fuses up front, more resistance for me. and fuses are for ******* //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
my bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i meant to say amp instead of battery...gimme a break, i had a long day yesterday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gifmust be 18 inches away from battery, but your battery looks to be up front? isnt he saying they are a long ways away from the battery..
never too much wire, we had 4 Pos runs of 3/0 and 4 3/0 grounds to outside the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.giftoo much wire ftl.
shoulda just put a piece of pvc under that car tucked in behind the skirt, and ran it all through.
**** i never knew that, Any idea if a corsica is a unibody? I take it you cant have a battery in the trunk for MECA?since my car is a unibody...there is no real frame to it and the best ground possible for me is straight from the battery up front.
I was planning on running 1/0 pos to the trunk for another battery in the trunk and using ground to the bare metal, Should I plan on running direct to the frame under the car or even to the battery in the front?a corsica is a unibody as far as i know
Most cars are now, but there is still a frame there, jut not a full frame
so all them runs from front to back are to the battery in the back or your running amps from the front battery?well....i have a battery in the trunk also in the spare tire well...and my voltage is better now that its grounded to the battery up front vs grounded in the back somewhere.
such confused me too.... but i decided to leave it alone.... but now that sombody else asked.... please do explain...how does that work? i never even have heard of that before? care to explain
