power draw???

do sundown amps draw less power then kicker amps? i now have a 2500.1 sundown and it seems to draw alot less power around 14.7v truck running and seems alot louder at 12.5v with the truck off

assuming you're comparing 2500 to 2500 and running each amp at its optimal ohm load then no. Kicker amps do their power at 2 ohms in comparison to the sundown at 1 ohm. The kicker will draw less current. The sundown will give u more options though.
