power comparison

I currently have two mtx amps, each putting out 3-400 watts. i think around 400 cause my car is running on 14 volts. anywho, i plan on upgrading to 1 jbl 1200.1 or viper 1200.1 refurb, will it be a big power draw difference? like will my headlights dim alot more then they already do.

well since its going to be three times more power than your running now... Yes. If your worried about it go to http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=007801 and do what it says. That will help considerably with your dimming.

How 'bout this: wait and see for yourself if your lights dim enough to bother you. If they do, THEN search for a solution.
