power cable through firewall. Chrysler Concorde

Ok,

My car is a 2004 concorde. I preparing the install, well preparing and planning equipment and such. I'm going to run the power cable through, but I can't seem to find a hole. Its too tight to really look from the engine side of the compartment and the inside has a really thick rubber insulation glued to it. get a drill, big enough bit, cross your fingers, and hope for the best.

^^ i heard about a guy doing that and after he drilled the hole a stream of sand started pouring out.. it was some high end car, i guess they used sand as a sound deadning

You can run it under the car. I've done it like that before. Just make sure you attach it real well with lots of zip ties.

Don't know if you are still monitoring this thread but I have a 98 Concorde with the same problem. I made a small cross slit in the rubber surround for the throttle cable. Ran some 4 gauge through it about a year ago with no problems so far.
