Jackass, they weren't saying to run new wire, they were saying to fuse that, and run the ~2' of wire from the fuse.
jackass. here read this.

or just run a new power wire???.... that's the best bet.

you have to overlook seth. he's not the brightest crayon in the box

and, btw...i think there should be a fuse in there. you could just use that to extend the wire.

n/p. you know what a fuseholder is? i think you may need one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

im not an e-thug. putting down others when they are in need of help is not my thing. why aren't the mods regulating these fools? they really make it hard for noobs to come into this forums and learn. everybody asks "stupid" questions once in a while. you can't help it. sometimes it just comes out before you realize the answer was a no brainer. but how can you learn if you don't ask? thats my deal.

alohaz.

I answered your question by reinstating the best suggestion in your thread. You jumped on me for no reason.

KTHXBYE.

Yeah I don't get why people don't just answer the question

Here's the answer you need to get a fuseholder and put it where your wire ends then run a short cable to your battery. Can't belive noone has said this yet.

Run 4g for power (or 1/0 if you can). There is no downside to bigger wire, and you won't have to replace it if (when) you go bigger. Speaker wire...
