power, but no sound

the amp is an Alpine MRP-M650. I dont know if this thing is going into protection or not(how do I tell if its gone into protection or not), but it is getting power. the deck is a pionner DEH-2800MP, and the preouts dont seem to be putting out any voltage according to the dmm on DCV and ACV. so im thinking faulty deck preouts. also i checked all the fuses and they are good.

my hifonics 1206d did that.. all i had to do was reset the sub level on my hu..

just had to turn the gain up a bit more. only had it like up a little bit at first. have to tune it with dmm after i get the box done.
