I have a 1987 Camaro Z28 with an eclipse head unit and 4 memphis front and back speakers. Ive never had problems with this system before but now its not putting out any power to the front or rear speakers. The front 2 are hooked right up to the head unit and the back 2 are wired back to the amp. But none of the speakers have any sound coming through.
I really need to fix this problem b/c im selling the car on tuesday and i need to have the stereo fixed. I have some old little amp in the car just to power the back speakers and ive checked the in line fuze, the fuze behind the head unit, and the fuze on the amp...all are good. The head unit gets power and has full display and so does the amp, you can even hear that the back speakers are getting power but no sound is coming thru. Im thinking my head unit is shot but it is a good head unit and i doubt its shot when everything still seems to work on it. I checked most of my wires in the back of the head unit and they're all still connected and fine. I could really use some help with this guys so if you could i would really appreciate it.
