power and ground help.

I currently have a average starting battery. 200a alt big 3 is done. I have 2 runs of 0g to my trunk. I have 2 frame grounds coming up into the trunk. C&d battery in trunk. Anyway my quesyion is whats better... 2 runs of pos to trunk and frame grounds in rear. Or a run of 0 from pos and one from neg to rear...

a direct run of the ground wire is what you want. Yes. Steel is a horrible conductor. Copper is much better. Unless you are using aluminum wire which is still better than steel but worse than copper.

If you have a trunk battery. Yes just ground it to that.
Ok. Ive always tbought shorter the ground the better. And also thought it was bad to ground amps straight to battery.

My amp in my signature is grounded to my batteries. and I run dedicated grounds.

Shorter the wire in general is better. The shorter the wire the more power it can handle. But you can't make it short when you are running the length of the car.

And when you ground your front battery to the frame/engine. And then ground your trunk battery to the frame. You are using your cars steel frame to send the current threw. That makes for a really garbage ground.

i have 2 runs of power and 1 of ground right now ,but will have 3 of each soon
Nice. Tomorrow ill run my new ground. And also how do u like ur 150.1(seen in ur sig) i have a 200.1 and havnt really ran ot yet except few hrs. And can u get ab bass knob for it

You should notice A BIG difference in voltage drop. There should be very little voltage drop when you run dedicated grounds and have proper electrical.
Just to update... I now have one run of 0g from + and one from - of front battery to rear c&d battery. I have a 4g ran ad well for my 4 channel and audiocontrol..now do i just run amp of rear battery now? Do i need to ground the rear battery...
