I have a 15" q w/ BP. I currently have a PG xenon 600.1 that puts out 600+ at any ohm rating. I am going to get another one, and power each voice coil with 1 amp.
Its a dual 1 ohm sub, so this will work out great ( I hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)

and to run each coil of a separate amp you need to have the amps set EXACTLY the same or this will bad

Or, I could just wire my sub in series up to 2 ohm, and get a freaking powerful amp that can push 1500rms at 2 ohms.

Nope, looking for a bit more than 1000w. If I am going to get a 1kw amp, I will just get the pdx1.1000 to match my 4.150

I appreciate the info. I however do not know what "strapping" is. Grounding of course would remain the same size as the power which is gonna be 0/1 that way I dont have future worries. Big 3 will happen the same day since I have to get up under the hood anyway. My amps will be under the rear seats with an easy chassis ground at the cross member.

strapping amps is basically connecting the two together to put out a larger amount of power to drive a single load.

I may end up getting two mono amps, and strapping them together to drive one 15" sub.
