Power and Distibution Question

Hi all, Kinda getting my feet wet here, had some questions on power and distribution. Basically Im going to be running a 4 channel 400w RMS amp for the doors and tweets but have future plans for sub install. So I will be pre-wiring for it when I install this amp. My question is should I start off with 0/1 or 2ga to the DB and then go to 4ga to the 2 Amps. Im still unsure as to what I will run for subs and the power for them. It is highly unlikely that I will exceed 2 - 12" or 3 - 10" subs because of usable space. Any guidline would be helpful as I mentioned I would like to pre wire while I have everything open and apart.

Thanks

im currently doing the opposite, so just run 1/0 gauge to the power block and ground the ground with a 1/0 gauge, and 4 gauge would work to run from the blocks to the amp depending on the amps :)

i taught you well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but the amp is the determining factor for 4ga vs. 1/0 from the block. i'm betting 1/0 is what you need

lol i knew i had it in me somewhere, still got alot to learn though, but thats what i got you for:D

I have a similar dilemma. 3 amps. 2 running my sub, and 1 running my fronts.

I bought a mono and 4ch. kit from KNU. Its all 4 gauge. I think all I need is a block, and some 1/0 to run from the front to the block.

How much 1/0 do I need for my car? Also, How to i ground all of this stuff? I am going to be running my electrical with the big3, and a batcap 800 for the 2 sub amps.

get a ground block to ground it
there it is

please explain this a bit more

I have a 15" q w/ BP. I currently have a PG xenon 600.1 that puts out 600+ at any ohm rating. I am going to get another one, and power each voice coil with 1 amp.

Its a dual 1 ohm sub, so this will work out great ( I hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)
