power acustic amps

I have never used that series, but I have used the gothic series on some friends car and they seem to holdin up great. One has had his for almost 3 years and its still in tip-top shape. Build quality is fair and the boards seemed to be fine when I opened one up also.

Overrated.

A3000DB's have been tested a few times (results have been posted at SD a couple times) and they've always been under the advertised power.

Decent bang for the buck, though. Price match at CarDomain, get a great price and full warranty.

My A2400DB has been just great so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thats the same one I'm using, and I've had no problems. I was also using 2 LT980/2 for about a year. Those where some kicka$$ amps to. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

ive used the new series [not the plasma whatever they are].

ive used this amp twice so far;

worked great, both times doing over 140db with music - one with a pair of oldschool rockfordDVC 15's, and one with a pair of typeR 10's. like i said, both over 140db on the TL.

ive used this amp once

my brothers sub amp, just for a little MTX10, been in there for several years, and no problems at all.

and ive used this twice

again, once in my brothers car and again ZERO problems, and another in the same car as the two rockfords mentioned above - and they have been running perfect since installation.

for the price? you really cant beat them. the monoblocks are great budget amps, only thing less expensive [and worth buying imo] are profile amps, but you dont get more than 500~700w with those really. good stuff - i always get them for installs i do locally - and i save the kids i do them for hundreds of dollars versus retail - and they get better installs than the "high power 2 channel" amps that you can buy at circuit city lol.

I had a PA a3000db. It ran at .8 ohms for 2 days no problem at all pushing 3 10" l7s. I realized I had the subs wired wrong and wired them correctly to 1.34 ohms (multimeter ended up reading 1.5. Played the first song for about 2.5 minutes after doing that and the amp plus an l7 cooked. Leaving the other 2 smelled cooked as well but they still seem find on the multimeter.

Just my experience. It was good while it lasted and they have agreeded to let me RMA it so I guess ill post some more info once I get it back.

the 3000 is the same amp as the planet audio P2250D/2500D/VX2200

its a great amp, .5ohm stable with good electricals won't even get warm if you give it the current it needs.
