power acoustik subwoofer help please!!!

ok i have 2 15" power acoustik subwoofers, they are MOFO 12s i think

thats the website that they are, and my question is this. how do i set them up?!?! i am a complete newbie with car audio, but i do go to school for automotive repair (go figure) so i know how to build a car, but i cannot make the audio sound good. so i bought these two subs off my friend. and i also have a 2400 watt amp. any help on how to make my 73 mercedes bumb?

they are 15 inches but i think that they are the MOFO12s cause my friend said that they were 1200 watts each

well i just looked at them again, and they are MOFO15s. so my question is this, are they good? and do i need a capacitor to install these? adn what is the best way to set them up. should i get 2 1500watt amps or a 3000 watt amp?

i would go with a 2 ohm stable amp that does around 2000-2500 rms. IMO, i think they are great subs for the money, and i have used them before. build a ported box to the required specs and your good.

lol get a amp that says

x@2ohms. the x is the watt output at 2 ohms. Look for a amp that has 1500-2000watts of power at 4Ohms. because if you wire them you have to wire the subs to 2 ohm's a piece. if you lived closed i'd help you lol

The PA A3000db amp is good power for the price IMO..

I used to want the MOFOs when i was like 14 LOL.. I did buy my girl 3 Pa FUBR 10's and sealed em on a 1606D.. and they slammed for a female's car.. No Joke...

I dont know much about PA's new 5500 and 4000 watt amps, they all seem to look like and have specs like the A3000DB..go figure

Try it out, seems to be a good price and looks like the A3000DB (good amp) its oiverrated so you should get a decent amt of power at 2 ohms and not kill the Mofos
