im in the process of figuring out what kinda of SPL/SQ - 70/30 system i want. i ran across some power acoustik products and they have spectacular specs and prices.

i was gonna get 2 of the 15s and that amp for around 330 *amp* and 175 *per sub* why arent they more popular around the forums? i dug up soem reviews and heard great things about the subs. more SPL geared which i am looking for. the specs to price seems amazing. what do u guys think of this setup? i want something that compares to 4 12s in a bed box .... int eh trunk of a car

Well, mainly because you get what you pay for. Build quality isn't the greatest, quality of parts isn't the greatest, and the amps more than likely won't push their rated RMS power.

I'm not saying they're "bad", for some ppl they are a wonderful, low cost option. But most ppl are willing to pay a little extra for something better.

They're 'known' as a cheaper brand. They do push their rated power. I would say they don't push their 'max' power, but hardly any amps do. For the price, I could not find a cheaper and better amp to put out 2300 watts without hitting like ebay or something.

that amp will give you around 2kw at 1 ohm. If your car can provide enough current for it and the subs can handle the power it's pretty much a no brainer to say it's gonna be dam (I can't believe we get filtered for d-a-m-n??) loud. SQ on the other hand -- who knows?

I don't think quality of the amp is an issue.

read what someone said about the subs at the bottom of the page
