power acoustik mofo 124x Question

Sup audio people I have couple of questions I'm looking to buy two 12s power acoustik mofo 124x 1600rms 2700w max @4ohms 3" coil dvc now how good are these subs because there not that expensive I think they go for $150 each Wich is not that bad that's around my budget & I don't need it for competition just for daily Cruise around hitting some good bass & what's a good amp to run them with and I'll be putting it an Honda CR-V is not much space back there that's why I'm looking to put 12s back there or what are some good subs for My budget thank you for help and time

Check out the soundqubed website, much better product for about the same price per, specifically the hds300 series.
What would sound better and louder 10'' 12" or 15 cause the reason im asking someone told me that the smaller the sub is the louder there are depending on the rms each how true is that

It depends on how much space you have for a box. 15's have more cone area than a 10 or 12, so they would be the loudest if each was in an enclosure to spec

the one in the best enclosure would be the loudest one. If you do a 15 with cramped space in a small crappy box then the 12 in a proper designed custom box will destroy the 15. If you have enough space, the bigger sub will always be louder. Rms is not a measurement of loud, its just how much power the sub can handle. The sub's TS parameters modeled out on WINISD will show you the output potential of each sub on X amount of power. Who ever is giving you this advice is an idiot.

is going in a 02 Honda crv I don't have the measurements right now but is not much space back there so plus I gunna need a lil trunk space so I guess my best bet is to go with 2 12s and have someone design me the right box

Step back, just say NO to the mofo ..... I just let the smoke out of a mofo 15 with an Mmats D200 the other day. on a perfectly clean signal... that's only 800 watts rms dude .....And I thought the vc was going to short and F my amp up before I could shut it down ....

Then hooked it up to a RF power T1 15, and it took it like a champ ... and it's only rated to take like 600rms ... it's the difference in build quality OP .....

I stand corrected, mofos cant even handle half their RMS ratings LOL!

[/color]wow i assumed the mofo would handle 1000wrms..im running 750 wrms to a single type s in a 3.5 cu ft box with 2 4" aero ports and surprisingly for a 500 watt rms sub ir handles the power. the mofo looks like its

built better than the type s very surprised
