Ive got a friend who has a Power Acoustik Gothic series OV2-1200 amp
http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2006/product_AUDIO_amp_gothic.htm
It says 600W mono RMS, 1200W peak
Now I know it will only do that 600W but I have a Kenwood amp thats 1000W peak but it only does ~500W rms
But anyways, I was wanting to hear how my SX18 is supposed to sound with the right amount of power and was wondering if it would be worth trying this?
I know you cant make a sub louder without doubling the amount of power going to it, so going from 500W to 600W wont make a hill of beans but I just thought for some odd reason it may give the SX that 1200W long enough for me to hear it so I can get rid of it here in 2 weeks.
