Power Acoustik FUBR-12 Subwoofer, Could you give me a comment/review?

I'm right now considering purchasing a Power Acoustik Fubr-12 1800w DVC sub. Does anyone have any comments, reviews on this particular sub. I googled it but that wasn't much help. I plan on powering it with a Power Acoustik A1700DRB 1700w class D amp and a Power Acosutic 4 Farad capacitor in a ported box behind the seat in a single cab truck.Does this seem like a good setup. Any help would be greatly appretiated, Thanks

yeah they get pretty loud the sq is not up there but it shouldn't be that bad if the amp is right. i have a video with some of the older fubr-12 or something in my sig. you can have a hear for your self. but they where pretty loud and the sq was not there it wasn't that bad. but there are better subs for the price that will give you way better sq and spl.

might as welll start visiting flea markets for pyramid/pyle shit, most people here spend $250-275 on a set of comps...some even spend over $250-275 for their wires...

i had a 12'' fubr. ran it at 4 ohms off a hifonics 1605d. 600 rms. gain half way up. lasted about a month then blew.

i ahve dealt with these, the right box can get them sound ok but i dont recc. for anyone unless you just like really loud sloppy bass. But i will give it this they do get loud for the price horrible sq

Sorry 4 the confusion, Ive already got a head unit and a component set, just looking for a amp,sub and capacitor for that 250-275 range, what sub would you recommend for around $75.00, Im not going for a competition system just a little more bass.

how do you run a dvc 2 ohm sub at 4 ohm????

you sure you weren't running it at 2 or 1 ohm?
