your so doped up you cant even tell an suv to a mini van lol, if you ran affordable amps you might be driving a mustang now instead of that Taurus, or maybe you got that from your mom and didnt even have savings to buy your own car, i hope the latter.

And yeah, I know how an SPL contest works. I coulda clipped the hell out of my stuff and probably gained a little more but I'm running a pair of 10"s that are rated at 600w~ rms and are getting almost double that, no thanks on the clipping. LOL I know everything has it's application and I know JL isn't an SPL brand but the guy was piiiiissed that someone with like 10% of his investment beat him that bad. After the show, we actually talked and he ended up buying a SunDown amp and an Fi BTL18. spent 1/2 the money, gained like 3dB and was MUCH happier with his setup. Again, when I see a post asking about PA and SS, mono-block amp, I just assume the poster isn't an SQ freak! hahaha
I always assume that they dont know the difference and read reviews off Sonic Electronix. I got beat by some vvmes, didnt bother me at all cause they sounded like pure ****
I played around with it a few times, found out that I dont gain a 1/10 clipped to hell. Voltage was dropping way to far way to fast
Put it this way. Clean I hold 14v clipped I drop to the 12s. With a big amp thats a big power lose. The way its set up for daily I get a minimul soft clip on 10% of the stuff I listen to.
nice... mine was like that but one of my batteries is bad bo its hurting my charging voltage and my resting voltage, its the one under my hood. im about to disconnect it all together and by pass that battery up front for now until i get another battery and just run my truck off the back.
I'm right at the limit of clamped power to available current. My Singer alt is a beast but it wont make 600 amps lol
lol..... my dc power alt is pretty good. its rated 220a but does about 248amps @ 2k rpms. its charging alittle bit slower now tho it seems. again i thinks its where the battery i have under the hood is like completely shot/dead dread what ever you want to call it and wont hold a charge AT aLL. Its tied into my rear battery bank so the charge has to go through that dead @ss battery before it reaches the back battery bank. i know its not good thats why im probly unhooking it today and run it off my 3 dekas in back.
The power acoustik amps are just like sound stream I think. The 5500 watts @ 1 ohm is on 18v.
On 14.4v the 5500 model should make about 3200RMS. Idk if they still are korean made amps. But i know they used to be.
