No pissing contest, I made a lil comment and he proved how butthurt he really is. He clearly has some sort of ego complex and I would guess he's probably a ni99er on top of it.
Someone asked a question, I gave an answer and he brought his uneducated, smart *** opinion in here for no reason. He easily could have searched BEFORE making a comment and adding to the stereotype that you have to pay out the *** to get decent power. Yes, you can spend $250k+ on a Lamborghini that will run a 10 second 1/4 mile. However, if that's all you're looking for, and not an "image", why not spend $10k~ for a car that will do the same thing? My budget setup beat a $4K~ JL setup by like 2.5dB, did it sound as good, not in my opinion. However, I was louder and the audible difference to the average person isn't nearly enough to justify an additional $3500~

you are clearly missing my point... he was at a CONTEST which, in order to WIN, requires a higher DECIBEL level than your competitor. He didn't as about an SQ amp or high end amps, he asked about a PA and an SS. Then tell him about those amps but be real and give good advice. Also tell him about things he could do with a bit more cash, things that will have more OVERALL preformance. The funny thing about normal SPL contest, it dont matter if you meter at 60hz or 20hz. It dont matter if youre clipped to hell or clean.
