Power Acoustik Amp

I had better experiences with Lanzar Vibe. Liked it better than the PA OV4-800 and US Acoustics 4085 I've tried.

Don't have anything bad to say about the PA really, I just thought lanzar was more power for the money.

I've never had any good experiences with 4 channel amps. The more channels it has, the more it cuts the power outage, IMO.

Power Acoustik makes great amps for the money. They're not exactly chock full of bells & whistles, but good nonetheless. Mine's been used, abused, dropped, wired wrong, given impedances too low for it's rating, and it's still pounding my 15"s hard.

That is good to hear. I have a customer that had an old school Power Acoustik amp in an s10 with the rear windows. Rain got in through that window and ran all through the amp and he turned the car on which turned on the amp. It went into protect and so he let it dry out. Two days later hooked up and it ran and is still running like a champ.

i am looking at geting a Power Acoustik 1600 watt gothic series amp for $150 so would yall say there is any other amp better than Power Acoustik for around the same price.

I'm using an LT-960-4 to power a single Power Acoustk FBX-10 and Clarion 5 1/4 components and I'm VERY happy with it. The crossover settings are a little vague, but overall very worth the money (got a deal on SD, sub and amp for $220)

ss3079 is using a PA 2250d to power his uberwoofer.....it's basicly the same as a planet audio 1200d (models #?)..just a different sink and power rating.

i'd say that for the money, it's a good amp. at least equal to a hifonics, which most ppl consider to be a good budget amp (i love my hifonics nemesis).

and using it to power ur memphis pr 10's, as long as impedence matches (or real close) should be a great combo. btw, those memphis ratings are low...they will handle about 350wrms pretty easily, if the enclosure is built and gains are set properly.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
