Power Acoustik A2400DB or eDesigns Nine.1 or HiFonics BX2000D?

Im trying to find an amp that will do Rl-P 15's justice. I love the Nine.1, but how well will the 2400 perform?

The PA A2400DB does

1800x1 @ 1 ohm

The Nine.1 does

1200x1 @ 1 ohm

The HiFonics BX2000D does

2000x1 @ 1ohm but I heard that they are overrated?

how audible would ~ 300 watts per sub be?

I haven't really heard that much on the a2400db, and I did search, but most of it was on the A3000DB.

I also heard that HiFonics are and aren't overrated?

Could someone give me a lil help...?

The hifonics, if anything like last years models are a bit overrated, but not TOO badly. Nine.1 is underrated, and you'll be seeing about 1300-1400 watts...haven't heard too much about the PA, but I'm guessing you'll see right around that.

Now, as to choice...the rl-p's really don't need more than 600-700 watts a piece to reach their full potential in most applications. Due to that, I'd probably go with the nine.1. It's probably the best quality amp you've got out of your choices, and will power them right to where they should be.

I planned on the Nine.1 anyways, but I wanted to get a lil bit of input before I made a final decision.....

i would go with the nine.1....i think you will here a sound diffrence between the hifonics vs...

PM box is empty now. I can get 50 pm's in a day with people requesting stuff.

But as far as the A2400db. It is a great amp. I little overrated but not by much if any at all. They are solid built amps that i have yet to have any problems with.

Nine.1 and the A2400 are great amps. It basically comes down on what you a willing to pay. The a2400 will be cheaper is about the only advantage.

I was also looking at a PA A300DB or to power 2 Avalanche 12's when they come out?

And using the PA A520-2HP to power my Aura Mr62's?

Anyone have opinions on these?

the RL-p

s will be optimum with about 700 watts on each them, so something like an Orion 1200D would be a great choice if they are dual 4's

ED 9.1 Should put out around 1400-1500, and you arent very likely to hear a difference between that and the PA amp, especially if it is a little overrated. Plus, the ED has a three year warranty.
