Power Acoustik 3000DB

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bsflag.gif.21f42eccd34b7d1eb1608fb1b59b69c3.gif on zkillr & iamamp3pimp. I've used 2 on these as well as their 2400 amp and I've never had a problem with them. I'm using one as we speak to push 2 15" RL-p's. What you've heard and what is true are two different things. I've ran them on 12v, 14v & 16v with no problems or issues. Bammaboy also was running 2 of these @ .7 daily with any issues at all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you can get one at a good price go for it, you'll be happy with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

talking bad about the 3000db, but have you used them? I have personally used them (6) to be exact and they did ALOT of power hands down you will get 2k out of it.
Well, Ima put it like this...

A Orion 2500d wired at 1.4ohms was louder than than 2 PA3000ds strapped at 1.4(each amp see .7ohm).

YOU TELL ME.

AND a Sundown 1500d wired at .7ohm was louder than a PA3000d.

2000rms I bet..

Theses amps have a current rating of 150amp. How and the world do you think your gonna get 2k rms outta that? HMM?? I guess you've reallyed owned one since it says it right in the owners manual.

Ive talked to Bama before, and he went from suppose 2 2300rms amps to one 5000rms amp??? HAHA

True, but the time that he had them he never had a problem with them. Also, the price differnce between the 3000 & orion or the sundown is major. Besides all he's looking for is 1500w @ 1ohm. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif You can also get the 2000+ by using a 200 amp HO alt. with 2 redtops, and 2 runs of 0/1 (+/-) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I said 2 PA's vs one Orion. Seems 2 cost more than one.

But maybes its just me...

Still dont see how keeping his voltage up, is gonna get him 2k rms. ITS got a max current rating of 150 amps. YOU DO THE MATH.

thats odd, because I did 146.1 with ap/spl 10s in sb1, but strapped the pa3000dbs and some how jumped to 146.3 perhaps it matters mainly on the install and such, but to each their own, I have seen it first hand, and the only way to solve the problem is have someone bench it and see what its output at 1ohm is under 12 and 14 vlts, and .2 gain = a win or a loss. Either or if your looking to spend 400$ you can get a pa3000db, used orion 2500d, used abmerican bass xa3000d all will do more then 1500rms

I had an orion 2500d and it was .2 louder then a pa3000. The orion was on a 50 amp fuse and the pa on a 30 amp fuse. The powerbass 3000 was .2 louder then the orion on a 50 amp fuse. All at 1 ohm at 14v. Maybe soon Ill be able to test a z1. (hint: snoop)

Also I had the Ma Audio hk4000d at 1 ohm on 200 amp alt and 2 yellow tops and it still dropped to about 11v on a burp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
