Powe acoustik power cap

hey

im looking to buy a power cap im not sure if i should go with 3 farad 6 farad or 8 farad, these are all power acoustik caps. would they stop any voltage drops that i may encounter, as i am upgrading my sub amp to a SPL dynamics amp which puts out 1200wrms at 1ohm, the guy at my local audio shop said that it would give me voltage drops. also im goin to get the big 3 done with 0 gauge wire before i hook up my new amp.

would i reduce any voltage drops with a power cap and what size would i need. also i dont want to upgrade my battery yet as im goin to sell the car and get a new one in a couple of months. oh yea the car is a VW golf 1.6 2001 so thats the standard battery im gona use

x2 just get big 3 and maybe a HO alt

as im goin to sell the car and get a new one in a couple of months.

Batteries can be switched out, and if you run the big three pretty well, you can just take the wires out of your current car and put them in the new one. Deep cycle battery+ good current flow=more useful than a cap.
