potentially louder - 2 15's or 2 12's - Mag Question

i'm changing my current set up. I have one Mag 15 off 1000 rms in a 3.7cf@27hz ported box. I have around 1500 rms at 2 ohms to work with. Which will get louder to the ear, 2 15's sharing 1500 rms in a 5 cf sealed box (2.5 per driver with 2 pounds of polyfill each chamber) or 2 12's sharing 1500 rms 4.6cf@28hz(2.3cf @ 28hz per driver). I really want to get the full potential out of this amp but also wish Ben and SI had these Mags in a dual 4ohm version. Would prefer one sub, but that won't work with the Mag and my amp. This hopefully will be my last upgrade, so which is the better set up. Only reason i'm thinking about another 15 is it'll be cheaper for me since i already have one Mag 15. Thanks for all suggestions, and sorry for a few posts lately. Just want to make the right decision, although i'm sure i'll be happy with either set up.

2 15's will be louder than 2 12's with 1500rms between them. Not only will you get more cone area, but the 15 inch mags are more efficient than the 12 inch mags. So you get the best of both worlds.

well the 12's would be slightly louder in the small passband above the tuning frequency... but 15's would romp em below the tuning, and 1/2 octave above and beyond tuning..

go 15's..

i thought there would be a lot more variables. But i've made my final decision. Thanks guys, soon i'll have 2 15's in 5 cf sealed off 1500 rms(1700+ at 14.4) kicker zx1500.1.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
