Potential HU issues

I'm sure what my happen but the question is will the steering wheel mounted audio controls work with a HU? I found a post on the forums about this same issue and that I would need an adapter. Also if I was to replace my factory deck I'll loose other features as in the warning features (low oil etc..) not sure if that true or not.. Anyway seems that keeping the factory or replacing it has it's pros & cons, but does it really matter if I keep the factory deck? I understand that I might or will some sq if I stick with it but I'm not sure if I should replace the hu. Any suggestions?

what vehicle do you have, and you would need an adapter for the sterring wheel controls but some of them will not have adapters for certain models. i would never stick with a factory deck, no matter what. if you loose a couple things such as warnings or door chimes its not a big deal. the warnings should be able to be had on other controls and the door chimes you can get adapters for those as well. i would personally upgrade!

2008 nissan altima coupe, really I just want to be able to use the steering wheel mounted controls. I'm looking for an adapter no luck yet

for something that new you may not find much right now. but i doubt you will be able to keep all controls that you have right now.

Steering Wheel Control adapters are usually brand specific to HUs. Try calling the adapter manufacturers to confirm compatibility.
