probably Acetone peroxide (AP). My most favorite primay high explosive. Pluse very easy to make. Please DO NOT make it if you dont have common sense around explosive, and please take extreme precaution. This is one of the most dangerous exlposives to make. Static electricity from your sleve and send it off. keep that in mind. OK

list-----

-Hydrogen peroxide. 5 bottles (were making lots!!) . .50% a bottle

-Acetone

-Sulferic acid (you can find this at pretty much any walmart or hardware store. It comes in a bottle that says Drain cleaner, NOT DRAIN-O, its a base not an acid. Drain cleaner is around 98% so4ho2

- 4 or 5 mason jars

-thermometer (optional)

- baking soda

OOOOkkk Preperation time

you first want to put you mason jars in the freezer and freeze them. This reaction is extremely hot and you have to make sure it stays cool.

You want to boil all of the hydrogen peroxide to make a higher concentration. its not going to all fit in one saucepan so you might have to do it twice. boil on high till steam is just stowing from the pot, evaporate all of the water r a majority of it, it will take about 10 minuted of bellowing steam to get it ready. **This solution is not NOT safe to touch. so dont!*

this is watchu do...

1. Keep the jars in the freezer while doin this reaction, dont worry, it wont spoil any food. Their will be a slight smoke but thats if the solution goes about 5°-10°C.

Add about 50mL hydrogen peroxide and 50mL of acetone. NO reaction is taking place now. so its safe to just dump them both in with no worries

2. The sufuric acid acts as a catalyst to speed up the reaction. So add about 5mL to the solution EXTREMELY slowly. Feel the jar to make sure that its doesnt get too warm, add about 1.5mL at once and go sitdown for about 10 minuted and add the next 1.5mL and so on.

3. You will see white crystals form at the bottom of the solution. Wait till the reactio is over and the jar is at freezing temp again to take it out.

4. Get another mason Jar and put a coffee strainer over the top with a rubber band. ONly one becasue, the water drips slow as it is. You will have to replace coffee filters because the crystals will bunch up and the water wont strain.

5. after you do that, gather all of the crystals and put it onto ony strainer (if theirs too much then you will have to split it up). get a cup from the cabinets and out a cup and mix some baking soda. I dont know how much, juss until it looks milky.

6. Pour this neutralizing solution onto the AP. Be careful to do this VERY slowly, because the Ap will fizz and it will oer flow and you will loose your precious AP. So do it gently until the solution doesnt fizz anymore. You will find that it will grow in volume. Thats ok, its just had alot of airbubbles in it.

7. Finally, get the neutralized AP and spread it evenly on a plate, it should be a paste. Put it out in the sun. dont be a dumbass and put it in the microwave or oven. becaue we will not be seeing you tomarrow.

8. check it every 2 hours or so. it will be a soft powder. If its still wet then leave it, patience is a vurtue.

Theirs many things that you can do with this. Put it in a tube, make AP caps, use it as a primary explosive to ignite higher and more powerful explosives.

A super easy bomb I used to make involves toilet bowl cleaner, aluminum foil and a container.

Ball up the aluminum foil into marble sized balls and put them in a plastic bottle then fill the bottle around a quarter full with toilet bowl cleaner(Ive only used 1 brand called the works). Screw on the cap tight and put it down then back away.

I used to do it with 20 ounce to 2 liter soda bottles and they make a pretty good boom.

also once you pour in the works you can fill it expanding in your hands but you should still shake it up. Sometimes they take like 10 minutes give or tak a few to go off

nitro remote control stadium truck haha fun

i used it as started fluid at a bonfire once

then some stupid ars picked it up and started sqirting it on the fire.. the flame travled up the spout and BOOM, sent the nossle flying .. didnt find it lol

there was gloin flame scattered on the beach in about a 25 foot radius infront of him

.. that was only like 175 ml or so b4 he picked it up

me and my friend. we were making a simple smoke bomb,sugar and potassium nitrate.

shit was fun to play with... but we ****ed up while heating it and the shit blew off in my friends face..

i drove him to the hospital he had no face or hair for a few weeks...

almost lost his eyes, only the outer layer got burned....

mainly 2nd degree but some molten landed on him and gave 3rd.

anyways we just look back and laugh...

i still have 1lb stashed in my backyard storage.

just becarefull and wear protective shit...

now we are making giant spud guns pneumatic and gas =)

haha sugar bombs with kno3/sugar. Shit, those were like the first things i ever made. I ordered 5 lbs. of it to my friends house wen i was in 7th grade. lol! his mom got to it first and told my parents and they were soooo pissed! but i found were they hid it and i made tons of sugar bombs and black powder. I cooked the KNO3/sugar in my camping stove i had outside, it was kinda sketch cooking chems in a pan but i was in 7th grade, i didnt care. A 100g tube will pretty much fill ur block

Ok, first of all...do not mess with peroxides ladies, it's just an awful idea. Most are shock sensitive and very explosive....stability is key if you're messing with stuff that can kill you IMO.

Gun cotton is okay to make, but you want to use more nitric acid than 10%...the generally accepted method (introduced by Frederick Abel) uses 2 parts sulfuric acid and 1 part nitric acid (Sulfuric acid is only present to prevent dilution of the nitric acid by water generated in the nitrogenation reaction). Also, the water in the cotton can cause spontaneous combustion...so the washing and drying process is very important, and can often take an entire day or more if you do it correctly. Oh yeah...nitric acid isn't something you pick up (at least not in concentrated form) in any store. You can get a hold of fairly concentrated phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid...but due to the many many many explosives that use nitrogenation, it's harder to come across the stuff you need.

One more thing. Although I HIGHLY urge you not to mess with peroxides, if you're going to...please do not put a jar in the freezer, add stuff, put it back in, add stuff, etc. Using that method there is no way to ensure you're keeping the reaction kinetics slow enough to prevent combustion. Use an ice/water or more safely an ice/water/salt bath...and if you're feeling really frisky use sidewalk ice (often calcium chloride) so you can lower the temperature even further.

The sad thing is that the the explosives which are easy to make with "household" chemicals are the least stable during and after synthesis. Please do not mess with these things unless you have some chemistry background, and more importantly, experience in lab.

As a final note, I'll quit acting like a parent, and say that hexamine (hexamethylenetetramine) with concentrated nitric acid yeilds RDX...the explosive in C4.

Ah...one more thing, iron oxide is not hard to get if you want to do thermite. Iron oxide is just rust...and although scraping rust off something isn't optimal, it works just fine if you grind it up with a mortar and pestal to increase the surface area for reaction. Magnesium is the best ignition source in most cases for thermite, but the reaction of glycerine and potassium permangenate on top of the thermite mixture also works.
