Well, if you are referencing me, the reason I mentioned posting pictures was to give you design ideas. To be honest, I didn't see the need for plumbing for our bar since the laundry room is nearby anyway.

I built the bar out of 3/4" MDF; the front and top is marble. The bar itself was ~$500 and weighs about 400 pounds. Its staying with the house if we move.

We went with a Greko-Roman look in the basement hence the spartan yet elegant look to everything. Note the ice try sunken in and the beer fridge closeby //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The lower level is a leftover countertop we snagged from Home Depot. It doesn't fully match but for the price, I couldn't pass it up. I'll be dropping in some win basins at that end.

Rome wouldn't be Rome without the arches. I did this up for the 'effect'.

building a new "bar" this summer...

you would be surprised how quick I made the actual bar...It is constructed out of those shitty wire blocks that you get from wal-mart, and MDF that I had cut at lowes, and the glued together with Gorrila Glue, so It would bond to the metal/plastic blocks.
