Difference it I am not "sponging" off my parents. I pay my way. I live at home yes, but I still pay my way.

And Im enrolled in school, the semester hasn't started yet and I'm not but maybe 30 credit hours away to my bachelors anyways.

So you buy your own food, utilities etc? How do you guys separate the food? Or do you all just slaughter a steer and share it?

I am going in the fall. I attempted to register for spring, but was too late to do so. I was thinking about the summer, but I dont think with working 40+ hours a week I can handle 5 week courses. Might put a strain.

I do buy most my own food, with the occational sunday lunch or dinner that myself or my parents make. We all cook together. As far as splitting up the food, there is no need I pitch in for it just as much so I eat what I want...with me working I usually dont even eat at home for dinner...being the only mean I am actually home for.

Utilities I split the upstairs heating and air. I split this because the way my house is laid out the upstairs actually cools most of the downstairs and my brother is also up there too. Water is cheap so eventhough I have offered I do not have to pay.

EDIT: I also do quite a bit of work around the house. I maintain the pool, fix random things in the garage. Work on both my parents Harleys. And random other things I get asked to do.

My brother just got out of high school. He is going to collage the same time I will be. I think he got enrolled at some tech school for computer animation.
