To get a nice or even good 17" LCD monitor for $200 or less??

if so through some options. I know they are out their just not sure it they are worth the money.

need to be able to handle videos and games.

really depends on the types of games you play. if your a hardcore FPS player or any other fast paced game i doubt youll find an lcd to suit you.

not bad but like i said what kind of games do you play? 8ms response time is pretty good for an lcd, crts can get as low as 3 and 4 tho

lcd for video games for 200 HA u gotta be kidding, get a CRT 20" or more for that price. I have a 20" LCD and it dosnt compare to my friends 19" CRT. imo CRT>LCD for the computer that is.
