Possible to fix a blown sub

I was thinking about getting back into car audio. I have a 15'' 05 L7 with a locked VC and I was wondering if it could be fixed without me having to buy a new sub. The sub looks the same way it did before except the cone won't move no matter what.

Send it to kicker to be repaired would be your best bet. Unelss you can find a new cone/former/pre-wound coil/spider (basically all new soft parts).

yea but you gottta pay for it...call them up and they will tell you everything you have to do

I called Kicker and the guy told me they don't repair subs and if it's not under warranty then I would have to get a new one. Is there anything else I could do besides buying a new one?

kicker stopped repairing blown subs for a few years now. all you can do is find someone with connections that can get them cheap for you, buy a used one, or find the soft parts, and have someone rebuild it for you. or steal one..
