Possible Issue With Alpine Imprint

So I'm using the imprint with my Alpine ixa w407. I don't have the mic, I was going to do it manually first. I started playing around with time alignment and that seems to work pretty well,some noticeable differences. The problem is with the EQ section. I tried both EQ's and when I make changes it doesn't seem like it affects the sound at all. I tried raising everything all the way up and then down. There may have been a slight difference,but hardly noticeable at all. Anyone else experience this??
