Hello

I broke my stock head unit replacing backlights in my 05 Sierra. Instead of installing an aftermarket head unit I decided to put an android tablet in its place, and I just want to know if you guys think my plan for audio would work, or if not a possible other solution. I am planning on using a OTG y-cable that plugs into my tablet and a converter that converts USB input to RCA audio output. From there, I am attaching RCA plugs into the stock speaker wire, which will be plugged into the USB to RCA adapter. These stock wires run to the factory amp that goes to the speakers.

As far as the factory sub, I am planning on attaching a line out converter to the same RCA plugs that will go into the USB converter, and I will attach the stock sub line to the output of the line out converter.

I am very new to this type of stuff so I apologize in advance if I said something dumb. I have a stock bose sound system so I already know it's not going to sound the best but I would just like to know if it would work. Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks
