portng my 8". suggestions please

recommended 0.8cuft. should i L port it, or use aero ports. trying to get this single 8 as loud as possible until i get the other 3. all 4 will be sealed for SQ. till theni just want a lil bump

id probly use a single 3" aero port .8cubes at 36hz would be 16inches long or 40hz would be 12.6inches long

The only problem with using aeroports for small subs, is making sure you don't go over the desired ft^3(this mainly happens when you're trying to tune in the low 30's in a small box...the port tends to get really long as well, longer than you can make an aeroport without going to HD to get some longer pipe), since the port has to be straight for 12"+. Using a slot port, it's pretty easy since you can just bend the port down the back of the box to get your desired length. And since you're dealing with a small sub, port noise really won't be an issue...and you'd save money from buying an aeroport as well.
