Ported enclosure help TREO TSX 10

1.25 cu ft net, 12 sq in vent,

18-1/8 in long, F3=30.4 Hz

this is recommended ported enclosure, wtf does F3 mean?..... frequency cubed? lol and what does it mean by 12 sq in vent 18-1/8 long?

this is the sub i chose for my dorm room.... shouldnt make the RA to mad but should sound good however i have always built sealed boxes... which fail in a building lol

simply. that is where the sub starts to fall off. -3 db at 30.4hz

that sub starts to shine on 800 rms. Make sure you get lots of port, it can take more power than in an enclosure without. I noticed the cone movement was wayyyy more in a box with about 20 in^2 versus a box with 30^
