ported e8s in a f150

i've basically built a box similar to this for my e8s that i want to run ported. it has about 1.3 cubes of space. i can't decide on port placement. would it be better in the front or out the sides? also the port calculator says a 2" round port needs to be 4.6" long for a tunig frequency of 33hz. does this sound right?

If it has only 1.3 cubes of space, I wouldn't recommend going ported, the port will take up too much volume in the box and the net volume will be too small for the woofer(s).

you have the space for 4 of them if you have enough power on tap.

the only problem you would run into is mounting depth. thats an easy fix though. just raise the seat slightly.

i should have been more clear. i was planning on two 2" ports. the length doesn't seem right at 4.6
haha it's not. 2 2" ports for 33hz in a 1cu.ft box(after displacement) needs a 14" long port. Out the sides your only option haha. But, a good one in a supercab.

Just to add a question that may help and one that I need to know as well - Is 2" for the ports large enough diameter for two E8's in a 1.2-1.3 cubes running on 500 watts? I don't won't to worry about port noise or anything else. I'm asking because I do not know, need advice from those that do. Thank you.
