yes but lets say I wanted to port mine to 38hz how would i know how big the port would have to be??

the box is 2.5 cubic feet. The port is 4 inches diameter and 27 inches long.

I could be wrong but according to my calculations it comes out to a tuning frequency of just a butt hair over 21hz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

meaning you need to raise it a bit b/c you can't hardly hear a 21hz tone. i don't know how though sorry

smaller port raises the freq.----------cut the port down from 27 to 6.67 inches for 38HZ

Allthough in car . Ported enclosures usually peak 10 to 15hz over the tuning frequency. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
