I have 2 Boston g2 15's. Right now they are in a prefab box. 2 cu each sub. it sounds pretty good and gets loud. seems a bit boomy at certain frequencies though. seems like certain lower frequencies are twice as loud as others. I am wanting to build a ported box, probably tuned pretty low. more into sql then spl. anyone have any info of what would be a good size and tuning frequency? it's in a suburban so space isn't much of a problem. i'm thinking around 8 cubic feet at 28 hz or so? anyone familiar with these subs?

just put together one box today. wanted to see if one sub would be adequate. it's about 4.75 cubic feet, tuned at 27 hz. it sounds so much better then the 2 sealed. almost as loud as well. now I'm debating staying with 1- 15. which will mean selling the g2's so I can get a 2 ohm load to my amp.

If you order directly from taramps in brazil you can get a smart 3k for $259 shipped...

You have roughly 50 liters total, which will probably work with that sub.
