ported box help

Just got my 18” obsidian in....looking to build a box. Was thinkin goin sealed but gona stick with amp combo in sig so gona port it so i can get the most out my amp n sub.Gona go with the smallest rec ported box for the 18..5cf. Want to kno if my length n sizes r right. 5cf minus sub n port displacement, would a 5in diameter port with a 6.7in length give me about a 32hz tuned frequency?

yes it would, but that seems like a very small port for a sub and enclosure of that size.

Yea was thinkin that to but if i double the diameter the length gets crazy long...if im doin it rite. Was thinkin the sound wouldnt be on..lagin with the music., dont really kno how to say it.
