ive got 4-svc 12'' fusion reactor subs..heres a link

my buddy built a box for the 4 of them... and he said they called for 0.08 cu ft per sub. he built the box to 3.8 cu ft for all 4 subs. the box is 30.5x15.5x15.5

my question is how much bigger can i go without messing up the sound? the box there in now is small and theres a sub on each side of the box and each end. ide like to do them all facing up and a slot port at the end. so if anyone can help post up and thanks

yea...ide like to go a little bigger so i can lay the box out a little better but i dont wanna mess with how they sound by going too big

i dont have a way to hook it up just yet... they hit really hard when my buddy had them in his s10. had them wired at 1ohm mono off a jbl bp1200.1. i dont have all my stuff bought/installed in my passport to hook them up

The 'norm' for 12" subs is usually 1.8-2.5cuft ported per sub.

That is totally dependent on install, vehicle, preferred sound...and about 1000 other things.

I can't find any T/S parameters for those subs, so I would just say try a pretty generic ~8cuft box tuned in the mid 30's.

you want to build a box after you biult a box and didnt even listen to it? You have to actually listen to it first then see what's wrong and start from there.

i heard the subs in the box they were in when i bought them. I DID NOT BUILD THE BOX my buddy did... i want to build a slot ported box and put the subs all on the same side of the box...not like they were with one on each side of the box
