This is going in the back of a Cobalt, had a sealed box in there that cartoys did, im making a ported box to fit in the same area and modifying there previous work.

Box is 2.8 cubes to 33hz, he wanted it to get loud and low so this modeled up better than JL's suggestions.

Didnt get pictures till i was like halfway but

All the sides on and some of the port in (ports were rounded)

Looks like its coming out nicely.

What program did you use to model it on? I swear the JL specs are half of what they should be.

I mean come on. 1.87 for the 13.5? I had my single in 2.75 and it sounded so much better. I tried the jl spec, but it sounded ...muffled or something..

I plan on putting my 2-13 w6's in 5.5 at 30. I used winisd to figure mine.

I didnt get pictures of the progress again because i was in a hurry.

Here is the box behind the beauty panel with it carpeted and finished.

thanks, beauty panel is attached with screws, you can see them in the last pic but they blend very well with the carpet.

And i love my bosch router, much better than the skil i had. Ive been very impressed with bosch tools, i own a planer table saw and router from them and all work great with no problems.

when i do my panels, i make them out of 3/4" or 1/2". That way, i can mount them from the inside of the box, and not see any screws.

Looks nice in the car though.
